Old Cards Always Fill Me with Joy

So I was looking through some pictues and happened to find a few cards that I have made, so I thought I would post since I am kinda lagging lately on new cards being produced :)  The first was a Thank You card for one of the Job's Daughters that I made because she picked me to crown her.  The bottom two were thank you cards for a friend who wanted to send them off to people.

Birthday Fun!

This week has been pretty uneventful.  School is great, and I really like going to my clinicals which are on the Psychiatric ward.  I have quite a bit of homework, but I am doing well in all of my classes.  Jordon seems super busy with school, but always seems to get his work done.  It was his mom's birthday this week.  She is such a sweet lady, and I was so happy to get to make her a card.  We went out to lunch at the Red Lobster, which was a first for me, but it was super delicious.  The snow has finally started falling, and I am loving it!  It always seems to amaze me how beautiful and quite the world seems after a snowfall.  I hope to get to take Bella out later this week in the snow and take a few pictures of her.  Plans with the house are coming along nicely.  We went up to see the house again when the inspector went through it on Tuesday.  I am getting excited that this is going to maybe be very real, very soon!  There is a lot of snow up at the house, and I can't wait to take Bella up there and let her prance around all over in the fresh powder!  Here are a few pictures of my Birthday card for Rebecca.

Front of the card... I am into using grey and light pink lately

detail on the inside... oh how I wish I could take pictures better!

Hope you all have a good week!  I know that I am going to!

Nikki's Birthday

So, my little see-ster turned 20!  Wow, I can't believe it!  But, of course I made her a card, and so here's a few shot of her card and the present before she destroyed the whole thing.  Love you Nickle!

Since Nikki wants my bedroom for her own personal second bedroom, We gave her money to help buy a new bedroom set.  Love you Nikki, hope the next 20 was as great as the first!

Love,
xoxo Britt

Christmas Blessings.

So, I know it has been a while, but I promise to get better at this blog thing.  I am just so overwhelmed with school and house hunting lately... but alas, our house hunting might come to an end soon and I am so excited.  The house that we might get is the one that we wanted very first.  It was the first house that Jordon showed me, and I can't believe after all we've been through that we might get it.  I have so many plans for it.  It is a rambler with an unfinished basement.  The other amazing feature, that I love is that it has an unfinshed attic that I can stand in... I can see some very serious craft potential going on very soon!  School is great and Jordon and I are finishing up our degrees.  I have a few photos from Christmas that I thought I would share.  We had a lovely day, and were able to spend it with family and friends.  I promise that I will post about the wedding, just as soon as I can finish up a few bits and pieces of my card making a picture taking.  I also have to say that Christmas was a bit of a compromise for Jordon and I.  I really wanted a real tree, and as you can see, I got one.  It is little and kinda Charlie Brown-ish, but I loved it, and I thought it was perfect!
Our Christmas Loot to our family and friends

I loved making all of the fun bows and tags for our family and friends!

You had to find your tag with the letter of your name on it!

The tiny card on the right hand side was our Christmas card.  I will post better pictures of this as soon as I get some!

What a lovely Jingle Bell Tree!

Here is my favorite shelf in our apartment, all decorated for Christmas.

Jordon and I got so many wonderful gifts for Christmas from everyone.  We came home with two carfulls of stuff!  We are so blessed to have such wonderful families and count our many blessings daily.

Love to all,
XOXO Britt
